Like the tension headache, these headaches are largely the result of not properly managing your stress. Those who don’t properly deal with stress though exercise or other methods will get these kinds of headaches. Fairly present in at least 2 to 3 among 10 urban citizens, this neck pain is similar to the headache itself, the only difference being that it’s at the back of the head.
The Tension Headache
So what is a tension headache, anyway? It might be helpful to know since it causes your headache neck pain. Being the major cause of headache neck pain, we first need to know what tension headache is. Basically it is the headache we normally get during hot weathers, which puts constant pressure on both sides of the head. Although sometimes it may get very bad, normally the severity level is just within mild to moderate, and it does not affect our daily lifestyle and routine activities.
This kind of headache pain is notoriously difficult to treat. It comes on hard and doesn’t go off easily without annoying one. The best part is that the headache itself is caused by stress and fatigue, which means you can do something about it. The bad thing is that this headache neck pain sometimes can travel down to shoulders, and make an individual feel very weak and vulnerable.
Usually it doesn’t go off without taking you taking a rest. Usually the headache and the headache neck pain do not necessarily have a specific cause, although medically it is believed to be common conditions such as anxiety, depression, and insomnia.
What About The Neck
The common headache neck pain hurts in the neck because your muscles are tight. This tightness didn’t just happen before your headache. It has been building up over months of not dealing with stress properly. Then, some trigger causes the headache due to the buildup of the pressure around the area. This is not to forget the rise in blood pressure too.
